A tour of the member record

Updated Nov 5, 2026

Everything you need to know about one business lives on its member record. Open it by clicking any member's name in Members.

The header

Across the top you will see the member's name, status and tags, plus a few quick actions:

  • Click the status badge to change the status without opening the edit form.
  • View public profile jumps to the member's live page when they are listed in your directory, and Profile QR makes a QR code you can print for a ribbon cutting.
  • Send welcome kit emails the primary contact their getting-started steps. Nothing goes out until you click it.
  • Edit opens the full form.

The tabs

  1. Overview shows contact info, address, industry, tags and custom fields at a glance.
  2. Contacts lists the people at this business. Attach an existing contact, create a new one, detach someone, or choose the primary contact.
  3. Billing shows the current membership (tier, price, renewal date) and recent invoices. You can start or cancel a membership here.
  4. Notes is your team's shared memory. Type a note and click Save note. Each note records who wrote it and when.
  5. Activity is an automatic timeline of status changes, membership events, notes and imports. You cannot edit it by hand.
  6. Emails is a read-only archive of conversations with the member. Blind copy your chamber's archive address on an email and it files itself here. The address appears on the tab when it is empty.

Good to know

  • Changing a status or cancelling a membership never deletes notes, activity or archived emails.
  • Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to jump to any member quickly.
